Sagar Defence Engineering(SDE) indigenously developed a system called Genesis “Boat in a Box” that could be retrofitted upon a regular vessel and give it all the capabilities of an intelligent vessel and the ability to execute repetitive missions without the need of human intervention.Genesis novel man-in-the-loop technology gives the operator the freedom to take absolute control over the vessel at any point of time. The technological advantage is the hybrid technology with smart software algorithm engines/hardware for both manned and unmanned operations can be configured to suit the particular vehicle irrespective of its size, type, propulsion and application. It uses self- tuning artificial intelligence algorithms which learns the vehicle responses and adapts itself to it. It can be used as a simple autopilot to a high-end standalone unmanned system. The technology can be installed/ retrofitted on any kind of new and existing boat/ vessel.
