Onward Assist is a state-of-the-art AI platform for oncology that helps clinicians make better medical decisions. The platform provides automated diagnostic tools and decision support tools that are used by Histopathologists, Radiologists or Oncologists. Onward Health is incubated at T-Hub and CIE (Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship) at IIIT Hyderabad. Onward is currently in research collaborations with institutes like Tata Memorial Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Apollo Hospitals among 7 clinical partners. ; ; CoFounders - Dinesh Koka and Vikas Ramachandra. Dinesh Koka is a 17+ years Healthcare Industry Exec, having worked with GE Healthcare, and then with startups; brings experience of managing GE’s Healthcare IT business for India, and the PPP (Public Private Partnership) business; Managed the West region business comprising of a $60 M portfolio across product groups. Vikas Ramachandra (Ph.D, UCSD) heads Data Science, and brings 15+ years of deep expertise across computer vision, machine learning having worked with Roche, Qualcomm, and healthcare analytics startups in the Bay Area. Vikas holds 10 patents in the areas of computer vision and machine learning, and another 5 have been applied and are under review.
